Welcome to Take Flight Healings. By engaging with our website, booking a session, or participating in our events, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and transformative experience for all.
1. Professional Relationship & Scope of Practice
Maria Romero is a Certified Sound Practitioner and Reiki Master. While the modalities offered (Sound Healing, Reiki, and Ayurvedic Massage) are powerful tools for wellness and stress reduction, they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Clients are encouraged to continue working with their primary healthcare providers.
- Maria Romero does not diagnose conditions or prescribe substances.
2. Booking & Cancellation Policy
To maintain the flow of our practice and respect the preparation involved in each session:
- 1:1 Sessions: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. “No-shows” will be charged the full session fee.
- Events & Workshops: Tickets for group sound journeys are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another person for the same date.
- Late Arrivals: Your session will begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, your session time may be shortened to accommodate subsequent appointments.
3. Medical Contraindications
While sound healing is generally safe, certain conditions require caution. By booking, you acknowledge that you have consulted a medical professional if you have:
- A cardiac pacemaker or stent.
- Sound-induced epilepsy.
- Are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
- Are currently experiencing active psychosis. It is the client’s responsibility to inform Maria of any medical conditions or concerns prior to the session.
4. Payment Terms
- Payments for 1:1 sessions are due at the time of booking or immediately following the treatment via our secure payment portal or cash.
- Prices are listed in NZD and are subject to change with notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, the “Maria Romero Method” framework, and original imagery, is the intellectual property of Take Flight Healings.
- The Whole Man brand and the Monarch Butterfly Educational Guide are protected works.
- Use of any materials for commercial purposes without express written consent is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
Participation in any session or event is at the client’s own risk. Take Flight Healings and Maria Romero shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in our services, provided we have acted with reasonable care and skill.
7. Code of Conduct
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior. Maria Romero reserves the right to refuse service or ask a participant to leave an event if their conduct disrupts the sacred space or safety of others.
